Under the fire of multiple rumors for several months regarding Chuu's position within LOONA, BlockBerry Creative today announces his expulsion!
For several months, there have been many rumors about Chuu and LOONA. When, in June, some reported that she was singing for another label, others shared more recently that she would have created her own agency. The only thing that remained certain was the position of BlockBerry Creative, which denied all of these rumors to the end.
However, according to a press release shared on the official LOONA fancafé, the BBC has just taken the decision to expel Chuu:
“Hello. This is BlockBerryCreative.
We are issuing this statement to inform fans that we have decided that [...] Chuu will be expelled and removed as a member of LOONA starting November 25, 2022.
There was a lot of speculation about Chuu last year, but the agency and LOONA members didn't release any statements so as not to cause trouble with the group's growth and worry fans.
With LOONA members' affection for the team and consideration for their fans, rather than saying what is true or not, they tried to express their feelings by doing their best in performances and content.
However, after recently being informed of Chuu's violent language and abuse of power towards our staff, the truth was discovered after investigation. The agency representatives apologize and comfort the staff, and we decided to take responsibility and remove Chuu from LOONA.
First of all, we officially apologize to the staff who were seriously injured by this incident, and we will do everything possible so that they can now recover and focus on treatment, to resume their normal lives.
We apologize to the fans who have loved and supported LOONA thus far and ask for your forgiveness that we could not have kept all 12 members until the end[...]"
The announcement is talking and many fans claim, on social networks, that the label would try to blame the young woman to justify the situation. As a reminder, it was reported a few months ago that LOONA members had not been paid for the work and investment given since 2018.
It goes without saying that this outcome will have consequences for the future of the girlsband.
